Map Relief sculpture

My map relief sculpture was a piece inspired by my childhood memories of always being lost. When I was young, I love wandering off. I always felt like I was turning corners alone, until my parents came running after me. Even today, I find myself wandering off in different ways of life. I created this piece in a circular motion to represent me circling around in life, searching for something.  I created each ring getting smaller and smaller, until the smallest piece, representing me finding my way. The white finish was chosen to represent innocence.
