Reading the "tattoo" section has given me even more of a realization how people can even express themselves with their skin. Skin is the one organ that holds pigments in a way that can express something. I have realized how amazing it is that something with ink can stay in our skin that is a constant state of shedding, yet the tatoo remains. It's the only organ that can be decorated on the human body.

After reading the section on "the feeling bubble," it made me realize how sensitive our skin really is to touch. I've always noticed the feeling of water on your skin, the feeling of being wet; but not until now did I really understand how sensitive our skin is. Even having a plastic bag over your skin still does need keep the touch receptors from working. I chose to capture these images to represent the way our skin reacts to water. One photo is of my hand in the water and the other is of my hand in a plastic bag but still in the water. In both situations, even if my skin was not really wet, I could feel the water.
